Seems to be pushed well by company and training provided for staff at Inset which is fine if staff turnover is slow

How well does it match the curriculum?

Badly: There are many gaps in curriculum coverage

Missing options for phsce i.e knife crime in inner city gang pressure and recreational drugs and peer pressure

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

It’s easy to find resources but they need to be more relavent to local issues snd have more range of activities to support high achieving Asd and adhd pupils

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

Ok for average pupils but of lower ability but higher achieving need more challenge, rather than 'write more' or 'think of more answers'

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

Formative assessments are relevant for the average student but doesn’t support lower and higher ability

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

I know my pupils and the issues in our community therefore need to look for resources and activities that support these rather than going through the motions

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning

Many pupils are EAL, or parents find English difficult and this does not support them. Lack of home access on a phone is an issue

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Badly: It really isn’t worth investing the time or money in introducing this resource at a school like mine

Head wanted an easy fix and thought this would do, but it doesn’t teach the subject or pupils so just ticked a box for inspections and governors.
