It's a great resource that offers school a lot for the money.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

We have found that Purple Mash matches the curriculum very well using their purpose made resources. However, children will also need to have experiences using MS resources (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Brilliantly: The content stands out as being particularly positive in this regard and would be welcome in any school like mine

Purple Mash has been great for inclusion - especially as we can use different year group levels for children's needs.

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils

The 'pitch' is very accurate to the children's abilities. There has been little need to differentiate, except for SEND for which we can use resources from a different year group.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

Children love using it - they even use Purple Mash at home!

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

We find that our assessments are fine with Purple Mash

How well does it support planning?

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

The planning is clear and very easy to follow and adapt.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning

Children use it at home with no issues.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
