How well does it match the curriculum?
 •  5* Follows White Rose but all questions progress exceptionally.
 •  4* Supports all NC maths objectives 
 •  4* Good coverage but requires deepening.
 •  4* Good resources

 •  3* Expensive and a little prescriptive 
 •  3* Resources are good and it generally meets requirements 

 

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
 •  4* All can access question 1 and 2 then they progressively harder.
 •  4* They all start from the same point 
 •  4* No issues

 •  4* Involves a range of different ‘real life experiences’

How could it be improved to support different learners?
 •  4* Questions get progressively harder so all can achieve initially but no ceiling.
 •  3* Mainly by outcome, anything more needs teacher resources
 •  3* The deepening is not broad enough.
 •  4* Accessible by outcome rather than differentiation
 •  3* I don’t like the fact that it isn’t very tailored
 •  3* Support for lpa children 
 •  3* Generally fine but need to make some adjustments as you’d expect!

 

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
 •  4* Children seem to really love it.
 •  3* Some issues with writing in a printed book
 •  3* It works for individuals but isn’t capturing for all.

How well does it support planning?
 •  5* All there for you.
 •  5* Misconceptions also covered
 •  3* Additional planning for lowers and highers often required.

 •  4* It is well planned and very little changes are needed because it is whole class 
 •  3* Good coverage with minor adjustments
