We were happy with our previous scheme but it was not government recommended unlike Little Wandle

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

The support aspect is not great and the training element would benefit from feedback as you complete it.

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping

It is acceptable.

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

It meets needs

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

Pupils are engaged

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

It provides assessment opportunities regularly

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Easy to follow without too much planning workload

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning

Don’t have access for parents to use at home

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Had to have a scheme so this was reasonable
