Easy, bright Infant friendly graphics. Simple to use by staff and children alike. Lots of games to pick from.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

We have access to games/tasks for all curriculum areas but some have less than others. Although we can differentiate who plays which games, it would be nice to have some games for different abilities.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support, extension or challenge

More reasoning tasks in maths are needed; more games on number bonds to 5 first; more games on individual sounds and games split into phonic phases.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

They like that they can personalise their avatar and that they can use emojis when leaving a comment. They like the games that are more open ended too.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

We don't use it for assessment reasons but I know there are different options available.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

We love the computing planning which is clear to use with lots of detail. You can just teach straight from the plans which is great.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

Lovely to be able to set whole class/group/individual tasks. Nice to change the timings etc in some games too.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Not sure as don't know the cost of other services.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 8/11
