How well does it match the curriculum?

Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected

The planning which is really easy to follow especially if you lack confidence teaching computing. The resources are also really helpful and the children really enjoy using it.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support / extension or challenge. Some of the computing units don’t have much challenge or more accessible activities

I'd like to see more differentiation needed in tasks for computing. Maybe an SEN activity to match each lesson and then an additional higher level challenge for those who are really confident.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

All the activities are very engaging and it is very user friendly and fun to use. Children enjoy taking ownership of their own profile:

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

Some assessment is helpful but it would be great if it came with a breakdown of skills progression for each unit of work for each year group to aid assessment

How well does it support planning?

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? /11
