How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Lesson plans, easy to follow, hlta can use the format, assessment objectives so can do formative assessment

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

SEN support, activities for less able and more able needed. Also extension tasks and progression to next year groups

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

Children enjoy purple mash sessions and talk highly of them. HLTA now gives feedback which children can see next session

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

Haven't used

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Easy to follow

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 9/11
