Overall, as I have said before, some units are great and others less well-developed.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

There is a wide range of topics and the curriculum is varied. It would be a good starting point for a non specialist. There is a lack of depth and the PowerPoints are all online meaning you can't download them and adapt them for your class. Some units/topics are fabulous but the ks1 units are a little lack lustre.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Badly: There isn’t enough range or some the age-related expectations are misaligned

Needs adaptable resources to meet the needs of individual cohorts. Also, the resources at times are minimalist. A wider range of adaptable resources would be great.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

I use it as part as a pick and mix of units. It would not be sufficiently engaging as the only resource.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Badly: There isn’t any / enough formative assessment or what there is, isn’t very useful

There isn't any assessment tool included. Just a couple of bullet points for each lesson on how it could be differentiated.

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

As mentioned before, the lack of adaptable resources is the biggest hindrance. You can't add to adjust slides.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Badly: It really isn’t worth investing the time or money in introducing this resource at a school like mine

Adaptable/editable resources. Consistent depth across the units. It could not be the stand alone scheme for the school but some well developed units enhance the current offer.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 7/11
