It’s a fabulous resource and meets our schools need just a pity they don’t do it for Key Stage 1.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected

It’s really good as it works out the weaknesses and gaps of the student. Problem is it’s only for key stage 2 only.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils

It needs to be for key stage 1 as well. It’s great for key stage 2. Century Tech need to improve your cover the whole national curriculum.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

However it was well used during lockdown and now pupils need to be cajoled to use it. There should be more incentives.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

We use other materials in school for formative assessment. This is used mainly for homework.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

It follows exactly the national curriculum; there are no weaknesses

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

It really supports learning and that’s why the school bought it. A member of staff had it in her own children’s school.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

I don’t see any improvements that could be made except open it up for KS1 use too. That would fantastic do school didn’t have to look for another resource for KS1.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 11/11
