It’s good Better than most things used.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Lots of non fiction which other schemes lack so that’s good; human voice good too. Negative is that initially found it hard to use….maybe just me but couldn’t find specific topic that I wanted.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

Could be even more basic for SEN. Covid has made the children really begin d so kids with SEN in reading/writing/spelling need texts for their age but written a lot more simply.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

They say good to have lots of non fiction (boys). There’s a lot of topics too. None of children have said anything negative. Neither have their parents.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

Don’t do many assessments with scheme itself

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Good ideas etc but hard to use initially (just finding out how to use & where everything was). Someone more ICT competent probably could access it better than me.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

Didn’t use it for home learning

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Not sure of cost/just told we were using it but no idea as to cost if it.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 9/11
