An excellent site which provides training for schools, to ensure that students get the best possible access to books. The site also answers many questions schools have about books such as how much a book costs, or where to contact a writer. The site is very interesting and should be supported by schools. The only minor flaw with it was the very small writing in the menus, which were difficult to click accurately. |

This site was great - it was full of links which a school library would be interested in following and reading. The site had all sorts of interesting ideas. The site was well organised and well laid out and the vocabulary was clear. The site also tried to predict the future needs of a library service. |

Review: Joan Irvine is a Canadian author, teacher and artist who has written children´s books about pop-ups and boxes. The site was easy to use and contains a very useful lesson plan on how to make pop-up books. This could be useful to a Year 4 teacher who has to teach about moving books. The site also has a long list of pop-up books she has written. She is available for trips to other countries to teach her craft, subject to costs, expenses and a place to stay. |

Short notes about new and completed projects, details of publications and dissemination activities are welcome. It is widely distributed, for example within Scotland to all schools and other educational institutions courtesy of the local authorities, and to many individuals and organisations world-wide. |
