Review: This is a really super site which features loads of free resources for teachers to use with interactive whiteboards and data projectors. The resources are all high quality and are for the moment free of charge. Activities available range from a fraction wall to a geometric proof of Pythagoras’ theorem whilst the games section features some excellent games that could be used as part of numeracy lessons or for lesson starters. Sadly this site will become a subscription web site from September of this year due to a failure to obtain DFES funding.
Review: This is a page of real life problems involving the four operations. They cover different aspects of maths including decimals and knowledge of time. The questions are presented clearly in large font. This worksheet is part of the excellent Primary Resources website which features many high quality worksheets and other resources. This tremendous site is excellent and used by many teachers in the UK to locate lesson resources and worksheets.
