Review: This is a super resource that has wealth of downloadable lesson plans and activities for a broad range of topics in the maths curriculum. These are really excellent lesson plans with a variety of approaches. The site is not free but only a nominal charge is required to access these resources. There is a short summary of each lesson given under each topic heading so locating a high quality lesson on a particular topic is realtively straightforward. This site will appeal to teachers looking for high quality planning resources on a wide range of maths topics

Review: Learning Planet is an education portal where teachers, parents, and students find resources, research, and grade-specific activities in one convenient place. US in origin. This is a great site. The games can either be played on a class computer, a computer suite or as a whole class on an interactive whiteboard. The children are encouraged to learn their lessons through interactive games. The site was well organised and organised into age groups. The subjects covered include maths, literacy science and geography.

Review: Site dedicated to exploring the concept of pi, providing a variety of activites, a video and the history of pi.
