Review: The ´´What’s it Like Where You Live?´´ homepage is part of the Missouri Botanical Garden. This is a bright and colourful child friendly site which has several fact sheets on ponds and lake studies. There are fact sheets on such diverse topics as the great Lakes, oxbow lakes and algae. All the information sheets have great graphics and are clear and concise. The site also has a navigation bar at the top, which allows users to visit other biomes or freshwater ecosystems. These are regrettably identified only by a symbol, which relies on existing pupil knowledge of the subject.
