Review: A poem about memories of childhood, and 4 comprehension/opinion multiple choice questions about the writing. This page was easy to use and the poem was one which the children would have to think about before being able to answer all the questions. This page would look good on an interactive whiteboard and hence could be used to reduce photocopying costs. If you click on the RHL school link, you will find a wide range of different worksheets to use with the class, so well worth a browse.

Amazing Adventure Series - Adventure Hat

Mainly suitable for:

Review: This is a very slick site, full of background music and lots for children to see. The site is obviously been written very professionally. The story section is great - with stories read to you as you follow the text. The only problem with it is the navigation - you have to use the virtual magnifier to read the text - this would be fine if the thing moved quickly or smoothly but it doesn't, so it just irritates as you have to guess where it will land. And when it does... the text is still tiny! The site is well worth visiting - with an interactive whiteboard, you will have a quiet class! The site also accepts poems from pupils to present on the site.
