This software offers an excellent opportunity
to incorporate ICT into the GCSE Spanish
Curriculum, using sound files to cover the
listening elements. It encompasses several
different types of activities and there
are 600 questions to be answered.
Topics covered include 'Life at Home',
'Out There', 'Life Issues', 'After School'
and 'Coping in Spain'. Students work their
way through each section and the format
of the questions becomes increasingly difficult.
Initially, students are translating one
word or a short phrase and then the format
becomes more complex when whole paragraphs
of vocabulary are presented and they are
then working on whole text comprehension.
This is a very useful program, which ultimately
will help students become more confident
with their listening, speaking, reading
and writing skills. They will be encouraged
to improve their performance and will enjoy
a sense of achievement when they receive
their certificates.

This website contains many
important aspects required to teach physical
education. It is aimed at teachers, primarily
the non-specialist, however there is a whole
section of the website directed towards
co-ordinators of the subject as it contains
policy and inspection advice.
The site provides inspiring and original
lessons in the three main areas of P.E (gymnastics,
dance and games). It also proposes that
subscribing to the site will save primary
teachers valuable time.
The lesson plans are an excellent timesaver
and have some original ideas that have really
appealed to the class I teach.
As this website links directly to the National
Curriculum and QCA schemes of work it is
an extremely valuable tool if new ideas
and originality are being sought for the
teaching of primary P.E.
