Service summary
Using interactive webinar, video capture and conferencing software, Schoolzone will create a recording of your content being used by a teacher.
As our client, through bespoke selection of evaluation fields to be covered, you can shape the focus of the evaluation from “a word in your ear” tips and ideas to “getting you started” initial training guidance.
The recording will include voice over, text messaging support and video capture as the evaluator moves around your product to demonstrate the content.
All virtual tour evaluations are carried out by Schoolzone evaluators who are fully trained subject and key stage specialists profiled to match your target market.
Evaluations are fully independent, but no evaluation will be published without your authorisation and all link to a point of sale on the publisher’s website.
Users can view the recordings using Internet Explorer (with a Flash plugin). Recordings are also stored online making them perfect to link to from your own website or to circulate via email lists.
The service costs £750* per interactive evaluation including hosting for 2 years, marketing and reporting packages.
Marketing package
The standard Virtual Tour package includes the following marketing:
- Publication on the dedicated interactive evaluations area on the Schoolzone site
- Publication of the narration text on the Schoolzone standard evaluations area (schoolzone.co.uk currently receives 650,000 unique users per month)
- Publication of the Virtual Tour details on Curriculum Online (if registered)
- Top billing on an evaluations mailer sent to the Schoolzone community (50,000 well profiled users) including an image
- A copy of the tour on disk which can be used for promotional activity
- General promotion at the main education shows
- Dedicated RSS feed highlighting new virtual tours available on the site
Reporting to clients
All Schoolzone clients are provided with log-in access to an administration page
to manage their own information regarding the titles evaluated and their company details.
Clients will be sent monthly service updates.
Schoolzone will report to clients with a written script for approval before recording. Final approval of the recording will then be sought prior to publication.
Clients will be advised when the evaluation is published on the Schoolzone website and within Schoolzone Interact.
Schoolzone will provide clients with six monthly reminders to show:
- Evaluated titles
- Associated content
- Client login reminder
