iTutorMaths Pass Your GCSE Ongoing Support course
Like many schools we are often asked for the names of Mathematics tutors for our students and other than word of mouth, we don’t have access to information on tutors in our local area so I was very interested in the idea of iTutorMaths as a concept.  I must also add that I am also very positive about the use of technology in school but not just for the sake of using it so I expect any resource I use to need to use the technology it does rather than it be there for the sake of it. ... More ...

  Clicker 6
Clicker 6 is the latest version of Clicker that has been produced by Crick software. Anyone who has used the Clicker program before will notice a significant difference with this new version. Crick software advertise the product as a literacy tool that supports children of all ages but it is much more than a literacy tool. As literacy permeates all other subjects it can be integrated into most subject lessons. Having been a clicker 4 and 5 user I was interested to see what changes had been ... More ...

It comes as a CD which the school’s IT technicians load onto the administrative network so that all relevant teachers can access it, or onto individual teacher laptops depending on the school procedures. There is a GCSE and an AS/A2 version, both equally impressive and must have products to ease a teacher’s workload with respect to setting tests and mock examinations. It is a very comprehensive package as materi... More ...

Zig Zag Education Practical Skills for A level AQA Geography
In the AQA AS / A2 specification geographical skills are an integral part of the course and students have to be able to do a range of things from interpreting graphs, completing statistical tests, drawing field sketches, analysing patterns, using grid references and so on. We bought the practical skills pack from zig zag to help us prepare resources for the students to use in their preparation for the skills exam (Unit 2) as we have found over the years that students have to be able to practice ... More ...
