Primary Report Writer Online is a web-based program that offers to cut the time spent on creating reports. It provides instant access without loading any software. The confidential data is protected by several mechanisms including encryption, passwords and time-out. The data is then backed up at least once a day.
Writing reports took limited time with the help of well designed pages including a help facility which accessed both the on-line manual and e-mail support. The reports are written with the help of comments bank, National Curriculum and QCA statements. There is even the option of adding your own statements or editing those that are provided.
All that is required is for you to select a year group, a child, a subject and away you go. All subjects are available including RE, PSHE and citizenship. There are also areas to provide SEN statements and targets. Any subjects not highlighted during the input process will not appear on the printed report.
Minimal admin and network input is needed other than the school's name, logo uploading and the input of class lists.
