About schoolzone
Welcome to Schoolzone, one of the
UK’s largest online communities
of teachers. Whether you’re new
to Schoolzone, or a Schoolzone connoisseur,
this page has been developed to ensure
you are kept abreast of what Schoolzone
offers its community of over 70,000
teachers (and growing).
Why is Schoolzone different?
We appreciate that teachers' voices are vital
to improving education. We financially reward teachers for the time they lend to any of our research projects - your
ideas and opinions are highly valued!
Since 1997 we have become established as providers of knowledge, information
and advice to educationalists and those
in the education sector via our website.
The website gives teachers:
- a collection of tens of thousands of free resources
- free evaluations
of products and services on the market
- lists thousands of events and training
opportunities across the UK
- rounds up the latest
news, research and policy changes
See what Schoolzone teachers participate
in:
- Peer Reviews: Schoolzone teachers conduct ‘peer
reviews’ on resources, services
and websites for us to post on the
website for other teachers to read.
- Surveys: Schoolzone teachers can complete the short surveys we run, for which they are financially rewarded and entered into our generous monthly prize draws.
- Focus Groups: We receive fantastic
feedback for our focus group discussions,
run across the UK face-to-face in local
venues or via online chatrooms. Teachers
tell us these are great opportunities
to get their voice heard, as well as
looking great on their CV. Focus groups
usually have 6-10 participant teachers and each attendee is paid £50-£75
for taking part.
