Review: Very pupil-friendly site, very colourful and easy to navigate. Animated exciting graphics engage pupils from the start, though they are obviously child generated. Site is completely interactive so pupils can work at own speed. SEN pupils may need more teacher in-put with some of the reading, but generally the site is suitable for a range of abilities as well as different Key Stages. Elements of site can be used as whole class activities. This site, or parts of it, can be set as homework tasks. Pupils can explore the events of 7th December 1941 in several different ways. The main premise is that the pupils are detectives investigating different files on what happened during the attack – Mission Impossible is a excellent game. Pupils can read the interviews of survivors, view visual images and maps. Pupils are asked to give their feedback on what lessons can be learned about this historical event. Cannot recommend this site highly enough.
