Review: Exhibits page at the fieldmuseum.org web site. This is a wonderful site, which has a lot of different interactive sites. These activities can be done on an interactive whiteboard, but for maximum benefit the children need to work in pairs and complete the tasks together. Each task leads onto other tasks, giving them a broad range of skills in terms of field work but allowing them to be based at a desk. This site is certainly worth a visit. The museum covers a wide range of changing biological topics.

Review: A web page created by primary students that is devoted to the Ancient Egyptians. Information ranges fromt the Pyramids to the Egyptian education system. This site could be used for moddeling purposes - to show your students good practice and can also be used as a research tool. Limitations however include a poor choice of font colour making it sometimes difficult to read - especially for those with literacy issues.
